Good Evening Warriors! This is Kristan Gallimore with your weekly message. I am so excited to welcome our students back from spring break tomorrow morning. I hope that everyone is well rested and ready to put in the work for our last quarter of the school year. It is so hard to believe that we have just 8 short weeks to finish preparing for End of Grade testing. In order to prepare, we need your help! Please work to have students at school each day by 8:20 and avoid early dismissals if at all possible. Every minute counts as we prepare for our summative assessments. This Friday we will continue our Intervention Fridays and it is also March's Freaky Friday. This month all proceeds go to support all of our athletic teams. Students are eligible as long as they have not received ISS or OSS from February 17th through March 28th. Band students attending Wednesday's MPA, please be sure to be at school at 7:30 dressed in concert black. See Mr. Carter if you have any questions. Looking ahead, Q3 report cards go home on Monday, March 31st. Our final Check-In testing window opens next week. These assessments will help us plan our content pacing between now and the EOGs. As you can see, the end of March and beginning of April are busy at Southeastern. Get some rest and I cannot wait to see you all tomorrow. GO WARRIORS!!

Good Evening Warriors! This is Kristan Gallimore with your weekly message. I want to first thank everyone who donated blood at Wednesday's blood drive. We reached our goal, supported a worthy cause and raised money for our school. Join me in wishing our Battle of the Books team good luck on Wednesday as they compete in the county competition. Thursday is spring pictures and Friday is spring sports pictures. Friday is also the end of Q3 and our last day before spring break. Families, there are only 35 yearbooks left available for purchase. Be sure to order yours today. The 8th grade formal is quickly approaching and now is the time to purchase your ticket from 8th grade teachers. A behavior contract must be signed in order to purchase a ticket. See one of our 8th grade teachers if you have any questions. There will be no weekly message on Sunday, March 16th. Students will return from spring break on Monday, March 24th. I hope that everyone had an amazing weekend and students are ready to put in the work this week in all of their classes. Good Evening Warriors! This is Kristan Gallimore with your weekly message. I want to thank each of you for your patience and understanding as we navigated the weather this past week. I am hoping this coming week is full of warmer temperatures and sunshine. This week brings a lot of sports information and things to remember. Tomorrow night is our spring sports meeting for parents at 5:30 in the big gym. Please make plans to attend. Spring sports kick off on Tuesday and we have our first home games for baseball and softball on Thursday. For spectators who park on Summit Street, please be prepared to walk to the gate and pay for entry or pay when an administrator comes around to check for ticket stubs. The money we earn from ticket sales to our sporting events directly impacts our student-athletes and allows us to purchase equipment such as baseballs, softballs, stop watches, line paint, uniforms and more. Our spring blood drive is on Wednesday, March 5th and we hope that you will consider donating. Southeastern receives $10 per unit if we can collect 30 units of blood. Save a life and support our school in one stop! I hope that each of you had a wonderful weekend. Thank you so much for supporting our students and our staff. We cannot wait to see you tomorrow. PowerSchool Cybersecurity Update: We are writing to update you regarding the recent cybersecurity incident involving PowerSchool, the software vendor that provides our Student Information System (SIS). PowerSchool initiated the process of notifying individuals whose information was determined to be involved. As previously mentioned, PowerSchool has engaged Experian, a trusted credit reporting agency, to provide complimentary identity protection and credit monitoring services to current and former students and educators that had information exfiltrated from PowerSchool SIS. PowerSchool is doing this regardless of whether an individual’s Social Security Number was exfiltrated. In the coming weeks, Experian (on behalf of PowerSchool) will be distributing direct email notifications to involved individuals (or their parent/guardian, as applicable) for whom PowerSchool has sufficient contact information. Additionally, PowerSchool has worked with Experian to set up a dedicated, toll-free call center to answer any questions associated with these offerings and the incident. All the information regarding the activation of and access to these services will be included in the email sent to you by Experian. Whether or not you receive an email, you may also visit PowerSchool’s website to learn how to activate the offering from Experian, linked here: http://www.powerschool.com/security/sis-incident/notice-of-united-states-data-breach/. Protecting our students and teachers remains our top priority. Thank you again for all of your support and understanding during this time.
